Organiser

The Organiser page is where you see the details of calendars, tasks, attachments and your email outbox.

Although the home dashboard provides access to tasks and calendar, this page provides a more sophisticated set of features for organising your working life. The following sections describe the main functions of the organiser.

Calendar

The Calendar lets you track and schedule your appointments, meetings, and events. Calendar includes the following features:

  • Create different personal calendars.
  • Create and manage appointments.
  • Create all-day events.
  • View your calendars by various views: by day, week or month.
  • Share your calendars with others.

To open the Calendar view, select the Calendar tab. The Week view is the default and is displayed when Calendar is opened the first time. You can change your view from the Calendar toolbar to see activities for a day, week, or month.

Tasks

Tasks lets you create to-do lists and manage tasks through to completion. Tasks support the following features:

  • By default a single Task list is created for you.
  • Create other task lists to organize your to-do lists by more specific activities, such as by work or personal projects.
  • Create a task with just a name. Alternatively, add more details, e.g. define a due date, set the priority to the task - high, normal, or low, and keep track of the status.
  • Share Task Lists with others in your organization

Attachments

The attachments tab gives you a view of all the attachments you have stored in the application.

For further details see the attachments help topic.

Outbox

The Outbox tab of the Organiser contains alert emails that need reviewing or editing before dispatch.

The tab will display the list of emails that need reviewing. Click on the → link in the Actions column to review an email. This will display the email details for review and editing before dispatch.

Note that it is possible to display a summary of the Outbox as a panel on the home page. See the Home Dashboard help topic for more details.
